Sisterhood in the City: Building Bridges Toward Better Relationships

WOMEN AND GIRLS ONLY PLEASE- Dana M. Murray, Director of Community Relations and Newark Collegiate Academy will sponsor “Sisterhood in the City: Building Bridges Toward Better Relationships”, a female-only, student and parent conference on May 16, 2015. The conference will take place at our high school, Newark Collegiate Academy, 18 Norfolk Street, Newark, from 8:30am – 3:00pm.

The conference will include a keynote speaker, focused small-group seminars, a panel discussion, and empowering entertainment. Students will delve into a broad range of topics, including health and wellness, relationships, professional careers, domestic and intimate partner violence, money management, and entering the college setting as an urban youth, all in the context of defining true sister-womanhood. Parents and students are encouraged to attend.
